Description

SUNMAX BELTS M16. New Product These white textured belts are the latest technological breakthrough for sharpening and polishing steel. They are micron graded and used in a similar manner to 3M Trizact belts for fine sharpening and polishing on steel. Sunmax belts are excellent for sharpening steel knives. Sunmax micron grading is similar to Trizact ® Conversions: M16= 1200P,  M30= 600P,  M45= 400P.

Not very good for grinding in a new edge on a new knife, but on an established edge, it makes it remarkably sharp. Combined with a 2x72 leather belt with green compound and it's amazing how quick you can get a spectacular edge.
