EMERY CLOTH SHEET "J" WEIGHT

Emery cloth is designed for rough surface use such as rust removal or sanding metal. It is made with emery abrasive, a natural mineral which is especially suitable for sanding and finishing metal. The cloth backing makes it strong and durable so it can be used for sanding, deburring, and preparing metal surfaces. It can also be torn into strips for strapping parts on a lathe or drill press.

COARSE: For removing rust, corrosion, or paint from metal surfaces. Cut or tear into sheets or strips for deburring and sanding metal.

MEDIUM: For light sanding or deburring of metal. Removes rust, corrosion, or paint from metal. Cleans brake drums, rotors and gasket residue.

FINE: For finishing or polishing metal. Cleans metal surface for priming or painting. Cleans corroded battery terminals and prepares metal for soldering. Also for cleaning and polishing crank shafts, rear axle housing and spindles, and for sanding glaze off of brake pads.
