Made in the USA, these durable 1/8" thick H&L interface pads
These protector pads fit between the hook surface of the backing pad and the loop surface of the sanding disc. The longer “J” hooks provide a stronger hold for Abranet® mesh discs, non-woven conditioning discs, and cloth-backed loop discs.
When using open mesh discs, the abrasive material can eventually wear down the hooks on the protector pad over time. Replacing the protector pad is much more economical than replacing the entire backing pad.
