If you own a 6" Random Orbit Sander but prefer using 5" Hook & Loop (H&L) sanding discs, this premium Mirka backing pad is the ideal solution. The pad has been counterbalanced with 130 grams to help minimize vibration and provide smoother operation when used on a 6" sander with 5" discs.
This premium medium density vacuum backing pad delivers excellent support, flexibility, and dust extraction performance. It also includes a 5" Pad Protector ($6.50 value) to help extend the life of the backing pad by protecting the hooks from premature wear.
The durable long “J” hooks provide a stronger hold for Abranet® mesh discs, non-woven conditioning discs, and other hook & loop abrasives.
