Micron Poly Belts (Glass + Metal)

These 3M™ Microfinishing Film belts are made in England with high strength film backing and micron-graded aluminum oxide mineral. They are waterproof and provide a uniform, close tolerance finish. They have a proprietary lubricated Aluminum Oxide sanding surface which is excellent on steel. The 5 mil flexible poly backing has a friction coating on the back that resists slipping. The following are approximate grit comparisons between Micron and European "P" grading: 10 mic = 2000 grit / 13 mic = 1500 grit / 15 mic = 1200 grit / 30 mic = 500 grit / 40 mic = 360 grit / 60 mic = 240 grit / 80 mic = 180 grit / 100 mic = 150 grit.
