How to read measurements of a MANDREL, Example: 1/8" X 1" X 1/4" ( 2 3/4" OAL)

1/8" is the diameter of the PILOT, wich is the front section of the mandrel that goes in to the 1/8" hole of the cartridge.

1 1/2" is the lenght of the smooth section of the PILOT.

1/4" is the DIAMETER OF THE SHANK which fits into the collect of your rotary tool.

OAL is the overall legth of the mandrel from and to end.

If you are ordering a 1 1/2" cartridge the PILOT of the mandrel should not exceed 1 1/2".
