Foam & SurBuff Polishing Pads
The 3M 5 1/4" diameter 1" thick convoluted gray waffle foam pad is excellent for polishing. Just attach to your 5" H&L back-up pad. Attach the 8" diameter H&L foam pads (Black - Coarse, Yellow - Medium, Blue - Fine) to a 6" H&L backup pad and use liquid compound or wax. The 8" Black & Decker Foam Bonnet ties on top of smaller foam or wool pads for polishing. Surbuff pads have thousands of verticle fibers laminated to a 3/4" thick foam backing. Use these for the finest High Gloss finish.
